Gentry, Arkansas Ghost Tales I actually live in a haunted house in Gentry. No one knows it because they'd think I was crazy. I've seen, on several occasions, a young girl with shoulder length brown hair who will quickly peak around the corner of my hallway. She also has a fascination with my son. He has been awaken in the night to see a glowing, fluttering light hovering in the middle of his room. He was terrifyingly awakened in the middle of the night to see her behind him in his bed with her hair hanging over his shoulder. He won't sleep in his room anymore!. The ghost was gobbled up by the night after being spotted. In any event, it's a creepy   ghost that should be kept away from. The ghost of an aged cleaning lady was made out in Decatur Park late at night burying a body by a big rock. Scared by the witnesses the ghost withdrew into the shadows. A resident claims that this phantom is the phantom of a visitor that was killed while journeying through Gentry some decades ago. A pitch black bat that transformed into a woman materialized heaving rocks into the water at East Flint Creek around midnight. This exact ghost has been distinguished very frequently in this location. The ghost of a homeless gentleman was perceived downing water from Big Spring in the early morning hours before sunrise. There are other stories on the subject of this ghost in the neighborhood. A scary creature was witnessed at Crystal Lake Dam on a dark night taking in the surroundings. Several people around here have had equivalent occurrences with a very similar ghost. The ghost of a guy outfitted as a gardener has regularly been witnessed tossing rocks into Crystal Lake at the stroke of midnight.
