Gurdon, Arkansas Ghost Tales While visiting the lights at the railroad tracks again we ran into more ''light seekers'' who proceeded to tell us about an old church not far away of which they had just left hastily. Since there is usually safety in numbers we all went to see what scared them so bad..After traveling down a long, dark, desolate gravel road we arrived at the church. Above the podium there were two ropes around which you can gather in a circle, hold hands and sing amazing grace just to be told to GET OUT by an unseen voice, the feeling in this place is very heavy, and you will experience cold chills even in the summer..There is an old tree where folks have been hanged. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a nine foot enormous man was observed by Gurdon Pond One Dam   at midnight gazing at the water. This spirit is enormously active in this area; there have been a few other accounts of this exact spirit. The ghost of a teenage girl was distinguished facing the eye witness in a rubber raft on Gurdon Pond One. This is one of those phantoms that is seen time and again in the neighborhood. One thing's for certain, this is an intimidating spirit that you shouldn't go looking for.
