The ghost of a teenage girl was seen attempting to deposit a corpse in Deep Slough late   at night. The appearance of the bystander alarmed the spirit who then faded away. A character with a skeleton face wearing gloomy robes has frequently been distinguished checking out Jacks Island Bend after midnight.
