London, Arkansas Ghost Tales On a clear night while traveling east on Hwy 64 west of London, my wife and I observed what appeared to be a cloud of fog in the middle of the highway. As we got closer the fog seemed to be taking some kind of form. When we were about 50 feet from it I could plainly see that the 'fog' had taken the form of a young woman wearing a long flowing gown. Her facial features were prominate as we drove closer and closer to her. She suddenly flew straight up in the air just as we were about to pass through her. This happened right in front of Rebecca Cemetary. After several minutes my wife looked at me and       said ''What was that?'' I told her that I didn't know but the hairs were standing up on the back of my neck; I knew that we had just seen a ghost. I had heard of this ghostly figure years earlier but   never thought that I'd actually see it! Legend has it that she was killed in the early 1900's when a stage coach accidently ran over her on her wedding day and she appears every now and then searching for her fiance.
