Comment by anonymous: This is not correct. It is due to gravity that you are pushed off the mountain. I've heard this tale before, but it was slave Indians from Queen Willamina. This tale is also not true. Queen has never been here, and her slaves was from her own country.

Mena hospital is haunted by the ghost of a young Indian girl who died in a house fire. She is ususlly seen standing in the window of one of the patient rooms. The patient sleeping in the room usually dreams of fire and there is weird electrical activity, like the working AC not blowing cold air even after being checked by mantainence and lights being dimmer than in other rooms.
I have seen this ghost myself while in nursing school.

Comment by Buck: I have never heard of this before and my family has worked in various departments of Mena Hospital since '76. I will have to inquire about this more thoroughly.
