Even later I took note that when repairs were being made by workers on the roof you could not hear them in the hallway below.

I lived in a house on Jordan Road near Norfork a few years back. I have never experienced the things like I experienced there anywhere else. I used to not believe in the spirits, or I should say did not know they existed because I never had such things happen to me like they did in this house. We were renting, and it was an old house built in the 1930s. It had old sheds in the back that had many old things, pictures, and antiques. Everything looked to be the same way they were left back then. They had another shed out there that had a broom maker in it where they made their own brooms back in the old days.

It was a two-story house. I heard the stairs creaking very often, which I thought was no big deal because it was an old house. But then it literally sounded like someone was walking up and down them, and nobody was there. I heard noises a lot throughout the year that I lived there. I just thought maybe it was me, and you know the house was old. My son was then about a year old, and it was his birthday. He was in his highchair, and all of the sudden after everyone was singing him Happy Birthday, he just looked away and was following something or someone with his eyes. His stare was something I have never seen before. I asked him what he was looking at. He was like in a daze for a second, and then he just came back like nothing happened.

After that day he started looking away a lot and talking to it. I tried to ask him what he was seeing and saying. Of course just turning one year old I could not get much out of him. Then one night (my son slept with me) I got up in the middle of the night to go to bathroom, as I was crawling out of the bed it felt like my son was crawling behind me following me. I reached back with my hand and told him to get back to bed. He was. He was actually sleeping soundly. I got up and looked behind me, and this black figure was following me. I ran to the bathroom and turned the light on scared to death! I ran back to the bedroom, and all the sudden it got freezing cold in the hallway. My hair on my arms stood straight up. I got in bed and pulled the cover over me, then a flash of light went off, and it sounded like someone had taken a picture. OK well after that night we decided to move.

My husband did not believe in all of this. At first he thought I was over reacting, but later he experienced some things of his own. As the years went by every time we have driven by that house there have been people moving in and out of that house. I have talked to some people that lived there after me. They have experienced the same stuff. They have remodeled it now inside and out. I have always wondered if that has stirred up the ghost.
