In the middle of the town of Norfork, Arkansas, there is an old log home. The Wolf House. Before they redid it, the stairs used to be on the front. At night between the hours of 11pm and 2 am you could make out the shadow of a young boy sitting on the top step hunched over and you could also see the shadow of a man hanging from the same step. The legend goes that this is the ghost of a young slave boy sitting down untying

his father who had been hung. I personally saw these shadows, not that I believe the stories, but we did try to debunk them. We were unable

to find anything that could be casting the shadows due to lack of trees or bushes. And the shadows were lighter in color than the other shadows that were being cast by the usual things. Also, you could actually see the ''rope''. It's a real shame they changed the house so much, you can no longer see the ''ghosts''. Therefore, taking away a major part of Norfork history.
