This was not the first beating the little girl had experienced in her short nine years of life in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She loved the bush because the tiny white flowers on it always attracted a wide assortment of butterflies which helped her to cope with her unhappy life. Her parents adored her five brothers, but considered her as nothing but a pest in which to deal with. One day the beatings went too far and the little girl died from a severe head injury. The hospital was told the little girl had been playing with her older brothers, and had fallen from a tree. As the years passed the house with the bush had fallen in and was done away with. Only the bush       now remains, and people have claimed to see a skinny little ghost girl in a blue ruffled dress sitting under the bush with a butterfly sitting on one of her fingers, and some butterflies that have landed in her clurly brown hair. But instead of crying the little ghost in the blue ruffled dress now happily hums to herself.
