Then I also realized it was as cold as a meat locker in the elevator and the rest of the building was warm as it was a hot day. I ran down one of the halls to the stairs and got the hell out of there. I never used the elevators again. The maintenance super said he couldn't find anything wrong with it even though he had received numerous similar complaints     about it from other students. Just a few years ago that very elevator fell all the way from the ninth to the ground floor at break-neck speed severely injuring a single occupant. I breathed a sigh of relief when they demolished twin towers or twin toilets as we called it. There was no love lost. I have had nightmares about that elevator to the present day. There is no doubt in my mind that what I experienced was the manifestation of a haunting.
