Van Buren, Arkansas Ghost Tales My mom, sister, and cousin where cleaning the old Crawford County bank building. My sister and cousin where upstairs and heard a woman laughing in the stairwell. My mom was downstairs and she was running a buffer when she heard a bell ring like the old bells above the doors, There is not one in the building, she turned around to see a tall man walk in the door he had a old hat and a long trench coat which he took off and put on a coat rack that was not there. Then he smiled at her and vanished right in front of her. My mom has never believed in ghosts until she cleaned down there and saw him. I asked what was wrong and she said she saw somebody standing at my door. I told her she was just seeing things but, she told me to look at my bedroom door , I did and there I saw a man staring back at us. I didn't know who he was       at all so, I quickly got scared. My cousin jumped in my bed and we both got under the covers. We peeked out and saw the man walking across the room. Things were really getting creepy then. We decided to run and turn the lights on so, we jumped off the bed and flipped the switch and the man was gone. My sister had one foot on the bed and one on the floor then all of a sudden she felt nails in her leg and also felt her leg going under her bed. This all happened on January 11,2009.
