Winslow, Arkansas Ghost Tales The small, old cabin on hwy 71 in Winslow-just south of Brentwood- which can be seen from the highway -is haunted. Rent ''Tales of the Ozarks'' and it will tell the story. I bought this movie from the Cresent Hotel in Eureka Springs. Many relatives of mine in the past have witnessed several sightings and voices at this particular location. I remember playing there when I was a kid and my aunt lived there-I remember strange things happening even then. Just last year, I discovered that my dentist had bought that property with the cabin on it and while she was working on my teeth, she had mentioned where she lived and I asked her if she had heard anything about the cabin being haunted and she said no. Then she told me that her son and daughter-in-law recently spent the night in that cabin while visiting and her daughter in law called her late at night scared to death because she said she heard a woman screaming really loud. I then told my dentist that I had the movie ''Tales of The Ozarks'' and it told the story of a family who had lived in       the cabin years ago-A husband, wife, and a baby. Well, a bus driver witnessed seeing a man throw a baby into the well. Apparently, the husband came home drunk and the baby wouldn't quit crying, so he took the baby out to the well and threw the baby in. The mother started screaming tried to get down into the well to save her baby. Well, the husband   cut the rope and she, too fell down into the well. Years later when my aunt lived there, I remember going to that same well which is located on the north side of the cabin (not to far away) The well is now covered with dirt, but according to my dentist and the movie I bought, you can still hear a horrifying scream of the mother. There are many other stories about that cabin that I've heard personally, but there is too many to list-go check it out for yourself. It's probably a mile or so south of Brentwood on the left-hand side. The owner's of the property live somewhere around the cabin and you will see a few horses grazing nearby. Submitted by anonymous In the woods around 12:00am, you can hear scratching and screaming. Then you can hear a gunshot, then everything goes silent. After an hour you will hear two young boys crying for their mother, and you walk can walk around outside and see blood, blink, and it will be gone.
