While the sun shines the folks who live here in Athens, Louisiana do their thing just the same as anywhere other, but when the shadows of the night enter the undeparted march in. One of the people who live here strongly asserts that this spirit may perhaps be a renowned old days native of Athens. The phantom of a chained up man is rumored to have been made out on one or two occasions performing a melody on a piano in an Athens home. It has been claimed that this exact ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was killed while driving through Athens some decades ago. Anyhow, it's a scary ghost that you wouldn't want to bump into after midnight.
