  I live on the outskirts of Bastrop and I don't want to make anybody here upset but I have seen ghosts of what looks to be slaves behind my house. I know that there were a lot of injustices here back in the day and I can only imagine what these poor souls must have endured when they were alive.
This area is very haunted due to the history of the area.
