One night my dad and I where driving down Bayou Tortue Rd. and we pulled up to Mary Jane's bridge and my dad turned the car off. When he tried to start it the car did not want to start. Legend says that Mary Jane was brutalized and murdered by her prom date and thrown over the bridge, her body was never found.
Rumor says your car won't start while on the bridge.
