A female with a spear in her head was perceived at the water at Bay Des Ilettes flashing a kerosene lamp. When the onlooker emerged the spirit ran off. A local person says that this ghost is the undeparted soul of a long gone Grand Isle resident.

  Indian combatant appeared contemplating by Bayou Beauregard. The spirit spoke of revenging a slaying. One of the folks who live here confidently declares that this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was murdered while journeying through Grand Isle a long time ago.

The phantom of a sturdy lumberjack holding a sizeable axe was spotted throwing pieces of wood into Lake Palourde around midnight. The viewer was terrified and fled. In any event, this is a bad ghost that you shouldn't go searching for.
