You may perhaps feel that Harrisonburg, Louisiana is exactly the same as any other city in the USA, but undeparted ghosts of former times in this city don't appear to be going to pack up. Things take place in this place that can't be explained by science. Not everybody believes in the descriptions the residents tell, but creepy things unquestionably take place here in Harrisonburg in the moonlight hours.

The phantom of a man wearing army attire may repeatedly be made out flickering a kerosene lamp by the waterfront at Black Lake.

A lady with a knife sticking out of her head may be distinguished very often by Bay Bayou meditating.

The ghost of a woman with a plastic bag fastened around her head is every now and then spotted at Lock and Dam Number Two before sunrise redistributing orbs about. A local man asserts that this spirit may very well be a famous days gone by native of Harrisonburg.

A big creepy ghost has been made out
 
    on frequent instances struggling out of Big Bayou drenched in filth after midnight.

The ghost of a young gentleman sporting a confederate uniform can sometimes be witnessed staring angrily at the watcher up on the top of Cassels Hill.
