After a couple of minutes it turned into about a six foot tall and wide butterfly made up of luminous green and blue light. I remember being stunned because it was looking straight at me. I mentally wondered if it was trying to communicate with me, and it flapped its left wing at me in response. Then after a moment it disappeared instantly into a point of light.

is another weird part of the story that has taken me years and lots of research to figure out. My husband did not see the butterfly. He saw the light,

but he said it looked dull like headlights underwater, and he saw it fly away, not disappear into a point of light. After my research the best explanation I could come up with was while I thought the orb turned into the butterfly, what probably happened was that the orb did have mal-intent and perhaps the butterfly was what was called a spirit guide and interceded for me. Maybe that was why I saw it, and my husband did not.
