The owner told us that his elderly mother had lived there until her death. Amy was working days and I evenings and we'd take turns babysitting which is what I was doing when I heard ghostly footsteps walking through the house! One very quiet afternoon     I was alone in the house with the baby typing a book report on my computer for a ull class while the baby slept soundly in her little carry-all a few feet away in the living room. The heavy afternoon silence was suddenly broken by very loud footsteps coming from the front Hall area and continuing into the living room the floor even creaked and crackled as though it were supporting some weight.
