These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The       ghost of a bound up guy is regularly noticed discussing into the thin air next to the water at Jones Point. Scores of residents say this phantom takes pleasure in startling foolhardy folks who come seeking   phantoms in Lafitte. The ghost of a youthful woman soaked in blood has allegedly been observed on a few occasions picking flowers in the back yard of a home in Lafitte. One thing's for sure, this is an antagonistic ghost that you would not want to meet at night. A gentleman with a big hole through his chest may frequently be observed attempting to conceal a dead body in Bayou Des Oies at midnight. A female's body with a dog's head can be made out repeatedly howling in Barataria Preserve in the early morning hours. People assert that this ghost can be the spirit of a person who lived here who died here in Lafitte some time ago. A gentleman having the head of a goblin has now and then been spotted late at night floating down Bayou aux Carpes. A female alight, carrying a gasoline bottle is sometimes made out on a dark night leading a conducted tour of Hole in Wall Cutoff to a crowd of phantoms. A man who lives here declares that this phantom might be a renowned yesteryear inhabitant of Lafitte. The ghost of a farmer having on a farmer hat is rumored to have been observed on many instances by a guy fishing by a lake close to Lafitte. Anyway, it's a scary ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate.
