The ghost of an elderly prospector with a large beard and a wooden right leg became visible stopping by Willow Bend before dawn. The ghost was gobbled   up by the night after being perceived. The spirit of a waitress was perceived trying on clothes in a Lutcher residence. Panic stricken by the onlookers the spirit faded away into the dark. The spirit of an aged cleaning lady came into sight nosing around in mailboxes on a dark night in Lutcher. When seen the ghost moved toward the observer who then ran away.
