Mittie, Louisiana Ghost Tales I don't know whether to classify what I seen as a ghost, or my imagination playing tricks on me, but one night I was headed home from my girl friends house who I'm now married to. Like I said it was night time, kind of late, about 11:30 or so, when all of a sudden it just got really cold in my truck, felt as if the hair was standing up on the back of my neck. I felt really creeped out, but continued home since I was not far away, at the time we lived about a mile or so away from each other, so any way I kept on goin and as I went around a lil curve on a back road I seen what seemed to be a little man, about 2-3 feet tall, scary as hell. I still get creeped out, but the thing is , some older people around here claim to have seen the same thing, I done a lil research, and supposedly its the ghost of a man from along time ago that lived with his mother, until their house caught fire, killing them both. I have seen this thing twice since then, I even quit goin that way, like I said it scared the hell out of me. Awhile back me, my now wife       and some friends were talking about cry baby bridge, and I started to tell them about this thing I saw. One of the girls that were there said that her grandpa had told her about this thing one day as well, so being the American people we are we climbed in our cars and headed down the road, and to my joy we did not see any thing, so like I said I don't   know exactly what it was, but if your ever in Mittie, goin down a back road called Bagget rd, and see something or fell something, don't hesitate get the hell away.
