My grandmothers best friend told her the ghost girl was a maid for a very rich man who lived in New Orleans in the 1800's. This man beat his wife and two children often. The young maid threatened to tell everyone how mean he was to his family. One day he was beating his little boy and the maid tried to make him stop. He then turned around and pushed the young maid down the stairs backwards. This fall broke her neck and killed her. The man dragged

her body into a barn where he buried her under the floor.
He told all of his neighbors that the young maid was just another runaway slave and she

would probably never be seen again. My grandmother told me this story when I was a kid. She died when I was in my 30's but told me that the young ghostly maid is wanting Justice to be served and until she gets Justice her ghost will still be seen through the years. Submitted by Kent

Okey.... I finally got up the nerve to tell someone about my experience that happened last year. I have been driving a truck for two years now cleaning up debris after hurricane Katrina. The money is fair for the work I do and I was enjoying the job up until the day I heard something I'll never forget.
