A man devoid of a head may once in a while be distinguished beside Belle Chaney Springs before sunrise gazing. One of the local residents determinedly argues that this spirit gets pleasure from frightening people who come seeking spirits in Saint Landry.

An enormously
  terrifying ghost was spotted bass fishing from the water's edge of Crooked Creek Reservoir at night. This is one of those phantoms that is distinguished time and again nearby.

The ghost of an aged prospector with a large beard and a hook instead of his left hand became visible by Caney Bayou flickering a lamp. The watcher ran away right after she distinguished the spirit.
