In the daytime Sunset, Louisiana is the same as any other US settlement, but struggling ghosts of the past in this settlement don't seem to wish to expire. The living dead are crawling over this municipality as the residents will say to you. Not everybody has faith in the testimonies the residents tell, but everybody who dwells in Sunset is not alive.

The phantom of an aged Indian chief is rumored to have been spotted on many instances in Grand Coteau Historic District at midnight covering a body by a sizeable boulder. In any event, it is unquestionably a chilling ghost that is preferably not disrupted.
The spirit of an aged cleaning lady can regularly be witnessed by Bayou Belleview rearranging orbs about. A person who lives here claims that this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while journeying through Sunset before the present. The spirit of a guy sporting a police force uniform was seen outside the entrance to Chicot State Park going mad. The onlooker escaped after she noticed the spirit. One of the local residents strongly argues that this phantom is that of a resident who settled here in Sunset many years ago.
The phantom of an old gentleman with a big white beard became visible searching through the freezer in the kitchen of a Sunset residence very late at night. The ghost did not mind that there was somebody other in attendance. Some of the folks here allege this ghost likes terrifying unwise people who dare to interrupt the silence in Sunset. One thing's for certain, this is a hostile phantom that any reasonable person wouldn't want to run into.
