Winnfield, Louisiana Ghost Tales Back in the late 70's my family & I lived across the street from the middle school in an old white house. We experience numerous encounters with a ghost. Things would appear then disappear, during storm electricity went off and lamp came on (we heard the switch click), door bell rang every morning @ the same time and no one would be there, we heard footsteps and saw shadows. We lived there for one year and moved. Recently i have traveled to winnfield to find this house, it appears to not be there anymore. A yellowish smaller house now sits on the corner (magnolia tree planted in yard). I wonder what happened to it? I was too little to remember address and my mother is now dead. I do have a picture somewhere of the front of the house but can't find it right now. A resident argues that this ghost is that of a resident who resided here in Winnfield a long time ago. Well, it undeniably is a frightening spirit that you shouldn't go seeking. A female with larvae crawling out of her nose is frequently made out by Brushy Creek glugging down blood from a glass. The phantom of a bound up female has supposedly been seen on a small number of instances striding along a wild highway next to Winnfield. In any case, this ghost indisputably is scary; one that is rather not interrupted. A female having the head of a demon may repeatedly be perceived relaxing on a sofa in a building right next door to Winnfield.
