Tables dance about, voices coming from nowhere. People who have never stayed for the night in this town will inform you it's superstition, but everyone who lives in Adair is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A guy devoid of a head has supposedly been spotted on many occasions relaxing at the kitchen counter in an Adair trailer. The phantom of an elderly gold digger with a large beard and a wooden leg can be noticed over and over again flinging bricks up on Jesse James Hill. The ghost of an elderly woman grasping a handgun has from time to time been witnessed in Squaw Hollow very late at night       hollowing out a crack. If you listen to what the local residents declare, this ghost is possibly the stressed ghost of a local resident who used to live here in Adair. Regardless of what, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.
