A glowing human form has supposedly been observed on a handful of instances smoking a cigar on the summit of one of the heights in the   Potato Hills in the early morning hours before sunrise. A local resident alleges that this phantom could be the spirit of a local who passed away here in Albion in the past. Anyway, this is a nasty ghost that should be steered clear of. The phantom of a young man wearing a leather jacket can sometimes be spotted in Bear Den Hollow at the stroke of midnight reading a tabloid. In any case, it's a scary phantom that is better not disrupted. A beheaded man was perceived in the backseat of a Pontiac by the driver seeing the ghost in his rear view mirror at the stroke of midnight. Other folks close at hand have had equivalent occurrences with the same ghost. A woman with her head and both legs sliced off was spotted by Martha Lingenfelter Lake Dam at the stroke of midnight gazing at the water. This ghost is exceptionally active in this vicinity; there have been one or two additional accounts of this particular ghost.
