To the untrained eye Antlers, Oklahoma is just another ho-hum little town where a lot of retired folks live. This is the impression most people get after visiting Antlers. On April 12, 1945, Antlers, Oklahoma was struck by an f-5 tornado that killed 69 people.
One of the long dead victims of the tornado cannot find any peace. Her body was discovered in the top of a tree after the terrible tornado. It was very hard trying to recover her body because it had been impelled by a large tree limb.
She was a beautiful young blonde that everyone liked. Now if Antlers gets a loud noisy thunderstorm in April, the ghost of the blonde girl can be seen in a large old tree on the east side of the town.
She says, ''someone please help me'' over and over until the thunderstorm is over.

Comment by Jean: Before my husband died he often spoke of how he helped out after the big tornado hit Antlers. He helped to gather up all of the dead bodies after the storm. He talked about a blonde woman that he and another man had to get a tree limb out of her that had penetrated her body during the storm.|
