My parents own this property today. While I was away at college my parents rented this property. One renter lived there for two days, and then abruptly moved out, claiming that she saw a woman's ghost. She described Mrs Forbes to a tee. This renter was not from Avant nor would have had any dealings with Mrs. Forbes to know her description. Another renter shortly thereafter claimed that they kept on hearing noises coming out of the back room, which used to be a garage.
