Bessie, Oklahoma Ghost Tales I live in bessie so I know alot of stuff I live by the gym and at night you can hear footsteps on the stage and if you stay late enough, you can see a man with a black top hat and long black coat and long brownish beard, and back in the day it used to be a morgue back in the day when they had horse drawn carriges, and now the gym is built on top, and it happens to be the caretaker of the morgue. People who have never spent the night in this town will inform you it's superstition, but everybody who has settled in Bessie is not alive. There have been further accounts with reference to this spirit in       the neighborhood. The ghost of a young girl came into sight at Buehler Dam around midnight pointing at the observer.
