'Harold,come here Harold' you will here splashing water under the bridge. I must warn you though...leave before he gets you too..no joke...a few friends of mine were out there a cople of years ago and they did all that I told you.....one of the girls who were there started screaming because she had heard splashing coming from under the bridge...She screamed at the others to get back into the car...They did as she said just to quiet her. But then a little bit later they heard scratching coming from the drivers side. They didn't know what it was. They got scared so they quickly started the car and drove off. As they spead off they had ran over something that was in the middle of the road. As they left the others turned around to see what it was as it set up in the road facing them.The girl was soo terrified that they had to cover her head with blankets to calm her down. This is one of those phantoms that is seen often in the vicinity. The spirit of an old sorceress showed up pulling a cadaver over rocks in Legion Park at night. The spirit unmoved that there was someone else near. A man who lives here alleges that this ghost likes startling unwise people who come searching for ghosts in Blackwell. A woman's body having a bat's head was made out attempting to say something by Bitter Creek. When the eye witness came into sight the ghost ran away. One of the folks who live here decisively asserts that this ghost may be the spirit of a resident who passed away here in Blackwell some decades ago. A semi decayed human body has regularly been perceived staggering through a Blackwell neighborhood churchyard.
