Blackwell, Oklahoma Ghost Tales A few miles out of blackwell, I believe is crybaby bridge, that no only holds the old legend but also a troll who live UNDER the bridge...Legen has it, if you call him .. 'Harold,come here Harold' you will here splashing water under the bridge. I must warn you though...leave before he gets you too..no joke...a few friends of mine were out there a cople of years ago and they did all that I told you.....one of the girls who were there started screaming because she had heard splashing coming from under the bridge...She screamed at the others to get back into the car...They did as she said just to quiet her. But then a little bit later they heard scratching coming from the drivers side. They didn't know what it was. They got scared so they quickly started the car and drove off. As they spead off they had ran over something that was in the middle of the road. As they left the others turned around to see what it was as it set up in the road facing them.The girl was soo terrified that they had to cover her head with blankets to calm her down. The ghosts of this city don’t leave anyone unstartled. Disbelievers don't trust in the local ghost tales, but the stressed spirits of Blackwell   are all too real. A bloodcurdling creature has purportedly been seen on a few occasions watching television in a Blackwell living room before sunrise. It has been said that this specific ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while traveling through Blackwell long ago.
