You see he was being taken by his family in a wagon to see a doctor but he died in Blanchard of tb during the trip. He was buried there alone a single grave in a large plot and the family returned Home to pauls valley. Later within 2 years his wife and 2 daughters died of the same disease and were buried in their Hometown     and my grandfather took care of his other siblings raising them to adulthood. My grandfather took me to his father's grave in Blanchard when I was a child as he was the eldest of his family and checked on the grave from time to time. Now over 100 years since my great grandfather's death I've recently documented the facts of our family history and find it sad to think he was buried there alone...
