Checotah, Oklahoma Ghost Tales We have a ghost here at  my house named chelsea any of my friends knows who she is. One night we were all over just chillin and we went into a room of my house downstairs and the ceiling was leaking and the alrm started goin off. We discovered what we could and made out an indian woman with long black hair and a long leather dress. We spent the night trying to talk to her and we got a few readings. Loads of ghost stories have been told by the residents. Folks who have never spent the night in this municipality will surely tell you it's lies, but Checotah is filled with undeceased spirits just waiting to terrify you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a tied up man is often made out at Checotah City Lake East Dam around midnight sobbing. It's been argued that this precise phantom is possibly the undead       phantom of a person who used to have a house here in Checotah. The phantom of a young lady drenched in blood has been said to have been distinguished on several occasions in a shoe store in the Checotah neighborhood. A guy with a big hole through his chest can regularly be perceived in Fountainhead State Park on a dark night dragging   a cadaver across the ground. A guy with the head of a leprechaun can be noticed over and over again trying to grip something in Coon Creek. A somewhat rotten human cadaver has occasionally been perceived scrambling out of a drain hole on a Checotah road at midnight. A lady in flames, gripping a gasoline bottle is once in a while made out playing a tune on a fiddle in a Checotah house. According to the local residents, this phantom is the undeceased soul of an old Checotah local. The phantom of a young air force pilot has supposedly been spotted on several occasions screaming names outside Greenleaf State Park. In any event, it is unquestionably a terrifying ghost that you shouldn't go seeking. A young-looking girl wearing a bloody wedding gown can occasionally be spotted in a mirror in a Checotah residence; the spirit was exclusively to be seen in the mirror. A woman with a blue-green face was noticed in a trailer close to Checotah. The ghost didn't appear to be troubled by the onlookers. The spirit of a delivery man materialized in a Checotah area grocery store, marching the aisles. The ghost waved to the eye witness.
