Chelsea, Oklahoma Ghost Tales Chelsea is a very haunted town with a lot of haunted houses.  One of which is my best friends house.  We have seen ghosts repeatedly there and some people have even been pushed off the beds while they were sleeping.  It is  a very cold house and at night it's very creepy. I use to hear a child crying at the top of the stairs and on some occasions it sounds like someone talking angrily as if the child is being scolded. Late one night two years ago I was heading to bed and saw a dark shape at the top of the stairs, I then notice the shape moving towards the edge of the stairs and then come tumbling down them. When it got to the bottom it fadded out. It was then that I heard footsteps walk away from the stairs (at the top). After this occurance I later found out from other locals that I am not the only resedent to experience this. Night hour is undeceased time in this place. A number of local residents declare there are no ghosts, but Chelsea is bursting with undeparted souls just waiting to spook you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The   ghost of a strapped up gentleman was made out flinging pieces of wood into the flowing water at Diver Creek late in the night. When witnessed the ghost came up to the witness who then fled. A local woman claims that this ghost likes scaring people who come trying to find ghosts in Chelsea. One thing is for certain, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that is preferably not interrupted. The ghost of a street bum emerged in Oologah Wildlife Managment Area around midnight searching for a photo. There are further reports on the subject of this ghost in the vicinity. In any case, it is in all certainty a bloodcurdling ghost that you do not want to encounter late in the night. The phantom of a young-looking female soaked in blood was seen in a flat in Chelsea. Other stories of this ghost have been reported. The ghost of an elderly hag was made out in a Chelsea home. Other people in close proximity have had identical events with an identical ghost.
