The ghosts of this settlement don’t leave anyone unfrightened. A number of folks who live here claim these testimonies are untrue, but frightening things indisputably happen here in Claremore in the moonlight hours. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a man dressed as a plumber can repeatedly be noticed posting a postcard at a Claremore post office. Locals allege that this ghost can be the soul of a local person who passed on here in Claremore many years ago. The ghost of a guy having on a police force uniform may be perceived very frequently verbalizing into the air at Claremore Dam after midnight. The ghost of       an aged gentleman with a big white beard has from time to time been seen trying to find somebody in a plastic boat on Lake Claremore. A woman with a sword sticking out of her head is once in a while distinguished speaking into the air as if someone in addition was there. A knight's armor with no person inside has been witnessed on frequent   instances walking a Rottweiler at midnight on a gloomy Claremore avenue. A local alleges that this ghost might be a well-known old days resident of Claremore. A partly see-through man dressed as the skipper of a boat may occasionally be perceived hurling chunks of concrete into the flowing water at Cat Creek at the stroke of midnight. The ghost of a young-looking man having on a confederate uniform was perceived soaring over the Tiawah Hills in the early morning hours. This precise phantom has been seen repeatedly in this place. One of the people who live here decisively asserts that this ghost is probably the stressed ghost of a resident who used to live here in Claremore. A number of of those who live here assert this ghost is the undead spirit of a former Claremore local person. One thing is for guaranteed, this is a bad ghost that should be left alone. The ghost of an elderly witch was seen pulling a body across the dirt in Dam Site East Public Use Area before sunrise. Numerous people in the vicinity have had similar happenings involving a quite similar phantom.
