Cromwell, Oklahoma Ghost Tales I was on the deserted highway of interstate 9. it was a cold night, that august summer. As I looked in my rearview mirror a flash of light caught my eye. At first I thought nothing of it, but then I saw it again. I slammed on my brakes and stood there looking. There was nothing. as I proceeded on my travel there then was ghostly figure standing 10 feet from my hood. I want to yell, but nothing came out. Then it vanished as if there was nothing ever there. There have been many events with beings from another realm. Some local residents assert there are no ghosts, but Cromwell is filled with struggling souls just waiting to scare you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of an aged Indian chief has purportedly been perceived       on many instances taking pleasure in the view at Cohee Lake Dam around midnight. Whatever people express, it indisputably is a frightening ghost that is better not disturbed. A pitch black cat that turned into a female can sometimes be made out glancing at the vista from the apex of Bald Mountain very late at night.
