Durant, Oklahoma Ghost Tales I lived in a trailer house on a dirt road about 5or 6 miles out of town one night I felt like someone  or something was trying to drag me off my bed I woke screaming! somehow I was halfway hanging off the bed!. The undead are crawling over this city as the residents will tell you about. People who have never spent the night in this city will tell you it's all just superstition, but Durant is full of tormented spirits just waiting to shock you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of a female having the sign of the       devil cut into her forehead appeared on a Durant residential street before sunrise. When observed the ghost moved toward the onlooker who then ran off. In any case, it's a menacing ghost that you wouldn't wish to come across very late at night. A woman with worms crawling out of her nose was noticed hanging in the air like a helium balloon in   Durant. There are many testimonies about this spirit in the vicinity. The phantom of a tied up lady appeared staring at a lady sleeping on a mattress in a building in Durant. Further accounts of this ghost have been described. A woman with the head of a leprechaun was made out trying on a jacket in a Durant residence. Other people close by have had similar incidents with a quite similar spirit. The phantom of a guy having half his head gone has often been distinguished by Blue River Dam after midnight looking at the water. The ghost of a young-looking female having on a blood-splattered wedding dress has purportedly been observed on a small number of occasions floating along Bois d'Arc Creek late in the night. It has been claimed that this particular ghost is that of a local resident who had a home here in Durant a long time ago. A beheaded female may regularly be seen flinging pebbles into Shepard Lake before sunrise. If you talk to the folks who live here, this ghost takes pleasure in terrifying people who are fearless enough to disrupt the peace in Durant.
