At night we used to hear pans rattling around quite frequently. After a couple of years he decided to remodel the house. He pulled the inside wall out to put in new insulation, and a sickle was hanging on the outside wall (in between the inside and outside walls). After the remodel we still heard pots shuffling. Once the ceiling fan came on full blast for a couple of minutes then stopped. They never used     it on the fastest speed. Shortly after that we left for college, and I only came for short visits.
