Enid has been hit by two major floods: one back at the turn of the last century and another around 1973. My brother was on one of the rescue teams to search for bodies along the Boggy Creek area next to Brookside area. They found a lot of bodies along Boggy Creek, and it changed him for the rest of his life. He lived in Brookside back then but moved out after the flood. He was a different man than he was before. Do the research, and you will find the truth. It was a bad time for my whole family. My family has been in Enid since 1907.

I've read a few things in the past about a house on East Cherokee or East Oklahoma being haunted. Things would go flying and happenings of evil activity. Has anyone else from Enid heard these stories?.
