All of the inmates at Fort Supply have a good reason to be scared. I have heard of some really horrible ghostly activity that has taken place inside those walls. One ex-inmate told me one time that he was forced to try to stay awake for almost a week because something he couldn't see would try to smother him when he would fall asleep. And just as suddenly as it started it stopped. There is also the story about the heavy breathing ghost that cannot be seen but you can feel it's breath in your face while trying to sleep. I do not know the history of Fort Supply prison but I'm certain it must be awful to be behind its walls and the supernatural having it's way with you.

Comment by Mike: I was a inmate there and had all kinds of bad dreams.

Comment by Sc: William S Key Prison was an insane asylum for many years prior to being a prison. Western State Mental Hospital. Prior to that it was an actual fort. George Custer served there. Lots of history surrounds that place.

I was a inmate at Fort Supply. I woke one night to see a nurse walking by the window. But the window was on the second story. Not to mention I worked many times in the old building with the chapel. My worst experience was when I was held down on my bed and couldn't breathe. And nothing was there.
