Garvin, Oklahoma Ghost Tales I have been living here in Garvin for the past 35 years and never dreamed I would see the Vampire Volunteer Fire Fighter.  I don't exactly know why they call him a vampire but he does wear a fire suit and you can see him walking up and down the roof top of the old wheelock church on dark and dreary nights.  Some say he was in the church when it burned down years ago others say he is simply a vampire who will stop at nothing to frighten people as they pass the condemned church.  My buddy Fred said he was wearing a clown suit one night but I just dont believe that.  I do know what I saw that night and it was no figment of my imagination as most may say.
