Downtown Glencoe spans for 2 blocks, Glencoe size.  Just 1 road.  The only things left are a couple of antique shops and a bar.  However, there are a lot of old places since the town is old itself.  My mom's family live out there.  The town was so old and had such a small population in the     80s that you could pick up the phone and dial the last 4 digits of someone's phone number and reach them within the town.  It has grown over the years so you have to dial the whole number now.  On the paranormal side of things, I'm sure it is filled with spirits for as old as Glencoe is.  I haven't been there in several years, but you can walk from each of my relatives' houses to the others.  I do have one story for this town and it came from my family.  My great grandmother died at 101 years old.  She lived in an old white house just south of an old trailer   (continued on the next page...)
