here last night!'' Right then, the hotel telephone rang! My oldest daughter jumped and yelled. I was surprised, and then frightened a little when I went to answer. There was no one on the phone. It had only rung once. I said ''Let's get out of this room.''.

It's wild to me that the downtown JC Penny's building hauntings are unknown even as it was featured on Ghost Hunters years ago when I was probably in Jr high. Needless to say, a friend of mine took me in there as it's owned by family and told me about the basement there and how it was full of EMF and was said to have a woman that has shown herself there to men that have beards. Well, I decided to go down there not believing it was spooky at all, and my friend stayed at the door. I made it off of the last old wooden step and just felt pure fear when my foot hit the dirt floor. I to this day can't explain what I felt, but it was very very cold! And I couldn't stay. I ran back out and felt odd after.

When I was a kid my parents used to watch me play with my imaginary friend named '' Jim '' and he wore a red hat and drove a truck. To me he was nothing less than an imaginary friend but I was so little and didn't know otherwise. My mind could have been playing tricks with me but he always stayed with me and never seemed to leave.
When I got older it stopped and I thought they were dreams because lots of people forget half the things they did as a kid and what your parents called memories sometimes you make those memories out to be dreams.
And by the age of twelve I overheard my parents talking about the memories they had with their friend '' Jim '', and I said who's Jim? They told me he was a really close friend that used drive into Enid Oklahoma ( where I was living with my brother and parents ) and he wore these brightly colored red hats and would always drive a freight truck and whenever he wasn't working he would walk with his friends.
