It is believed the little girl may have died from being hit by a train many years ago. . Submitted by Jan The old bridge east of Headrick, Oklahoma is haunted by a young girl and her baby. According to legend a young unmarried girl found herself pregnant and was very depressed. She did not have any close friends she could trust,     and was very afraid to tell her parents. Late one night she began having labor pains and walked to the bridge. She walked down and got under the bridge to have her baby where she could not be seen. During childbirth the girl lost a lot of blood, and died soon after her baby was born. Four days later the bodies of the girl and baby were found under the bridge. If you drive up to the west side of the old bridge just around midnight you can hear a girl scream, and a baby crying softly.
