Hollis, Oklahoma Ghost Tales In 1961 several men and boys were baling hay in a field west of Hollis, Oklahoma. The hay baler began acting up and one of the boys went to see what the problem was. Upon checking over the hay baler the young man let his arm slip inside it accidently. The baler yanked the young mans arm off up to his shoulder. The other men and boys rushed him to a hospital as fast as possible, but it was too late and he bled to death before reaching the hospital. If you are out driving around any fields west of Hollis do not be shocked if you see an apparition wearing a white tee shirt soaked in blood and missing the right arm. This pitiful apparition has been seen during the day, and at night. A friend of mine saw the apparition one day and fainted while she was driving her car, and her car ran into a ditch that I had to help to get out. Submitted by Jack There are many old dusty farm roads in southwestern Oklahoma. But one of the dusty old farm roads a few miles south of Hollis, Oklahoma has the ghost of a little boy. The ghost is that of a little       boy who is about 3 1/2 years old. This little ghost is only seen when the weather is warm or hot. Along with the little boy is the ghost of a small puppy also. The little ghost boy has light brown hair, and is wearing little blue denim overalls and no shirt. It also wears a little green hat, but no shoes. This precious little ghost only appears to   women or girls in their 20's or 30's, and will some times ask them, ''Mommy, Mommy where are you?'' The little ghost boy never allows men or boys to see him, but if you watch closely you will see small little footprints of a bare footed child walking along the dusty road, and the footprints of a puppy can be seen behind those of the little ghost boy.
