Night hour is undead time around here. Folks who have never spent a night in this town will surely tell you it's a pack of lies, but not everyone of the locals of Hominy are still alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a man having on a sheriff uniform is from time to time seen at Hominy Dam very late at night appearing menacing. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead can every now and then be seen drifting down Bitter Creek late in the night. The ghost of an elderly gentleman with a large gray beard was made out trying to find a glove next to a parked Dodge in a Hominy parking lot after midnight.       Scared by the viewers the spirit vanished into the darkness. Locals who have distinguished this ghost declare this ghost can be the soul of a local resident who passed away here in Hominy some time ago. A lady with a spear sticking out of her head emerged digging a cavity quite near Lake Keystone State Park. When spotted the ghost came within   reach of the bystander who then fled. One thing is for sure, this ghost unquestionably is creepy; one that you shouldn't go trying to locate. A knight's armor from the middle ages devoid of a person inside was seen in a Hominy area grocery store, striding the aisles. There have been additional stories with reference to this ghost in the vicinity. People here claim that this spirit could be a well-known former time dweller of Hominy. Anyway, this is a nasty ghost that is rather not interrupted. The ghost of a female with a plastic bag fastened around her head became visible swallowing blood from a cup before dawn by a mailbox in Hominy. Several folks close by have had matching occurrences involving an almost identical ghost. A local resident says that this ghost is probably the stressed ghost of a resident who used to have a home here in Hominy. A somewhat see-through guy clothed as the skipper of a fishing boat was witnessed resting at the dining table in a Hominy house trying to find a photo. This is one of those phantoms that is noticed repeatedly close by. One of the folks who live here decisively asserts that this spirit is the tormented spirit of a former Hominy local resident.
