Indiahoma, Oklahoma Ghost Tales To someone who is driving by the small town of Indiahoma, Oklahoma it is just another small community in western Oklahoma where a few ranchers and farmers live. Just due west of Indiahoma is an old rusty bridge which goes over 'Deep Red' creek. The creek has many ancient trees that have been there for several hundred years. The spectre's of indians, gangsters, men, and horses have been spotted coming from the general direction of the old bridge. There is one spectre seen without a head, and he is dragging a rope with a hangman's noose at the end of it. It is believed that cattle rustlers were taken       there to be hanged many years ago, and the headless spectre is one of the rustlers who was captured and hanged. Maybe the rustlers head came off in the process of being hanged. I have been to the old   bridge many times during the day and still got an eerie feeling each and every time.
