Probably through that area in hopes there was water in the creek for the herd and their horses. The Trail Boss and a couple of the cow punchers came across the body of some Man hanging from a tree near the edge of the creek. They also found a half starved Black horse with a saddle on it a little     farther up the creek. The cow punchers asked around about the body that was hanged from a tree but nobody knew anything about it. The cow herders kept the old Black horse and began calling the dead body 'black horse charlie. ' so if there is any paranormal activity near the creek it has to be related to Black horse charlie because he May be seeking some kind of justice.
