I distinctly remember that there was no sound of a speeding motorcycle, but the rider turned his black facemask toward us as he passed. shop we had left a few days previously. They looked at each other a moment, then questioned us about the bike description and the rider's apparel.

After a few moments, they told us about a guy they knew who matched that description. He had been killed on a curve a mile or so east of where we had seen him some months earlier. And his riding apparel was similar to what we saw him wearing when he zipped by us that cold, wet evening. I always wondered if anyone else had a similar experience. Submitted by B.J.
