Does anyone have any info on a house at 60x E Monroe? I am having some very scary experiences in the house and have caught some orbs on camera and strange sounds. Also my dog has been seeing things as we'll and acting way out of character so I would greatly appreciate any info any one might have to help explain this. Please contact me; my email is dustinruyle @gmail. com.

The story of 1896 is true, but there is a house on East Madison that is haunted by a man in overalls somewhat like what the old time train workers wore. The house was owned by my friend and her husband for years, and she always told me it was haunted. I did not believe her. I would hear noises upstairs but passed it off as an old house creaking and groaning, but to be honest I got weird vibes from the upstairs and avoided it as much as possible.

One day I received some devastating news, so my friend insisted I stay the night with her. At that time her bedroom was downstairs, and as I hated going up stairs alone I agreed to sleep in her room. As I lay there some one began patting my leg. I told her to stop. She informed me not her, and sure enough she had her hands under her head. A little later the blanket began to be pulled off of me. I told her to quit hogging the blankets, but as I looked at her, she was lying on her side with her hands under head. Okay I thought ''that is enough. Leave me alone,'' and it quit.

The next morning I was in her bathroom, and I thought to myself ''ok if you are real, prove it. '' Then the top cabinet which is at least ten feet up popped open. I ran from the bathroom and asked her to tell me that it happens all the time. She said ''uh no,'' It painted shut as it is too high to use. There are sounds of walking in the hallway when no one there or upstairs I mean. One day a boom came, and we ran upstairs to find a shelf had fallen from the way, but the toys on it were lined up in a perfect row. Her great niece was upstairs one day and asked if she could play ball soon. She asked if she could play ball with the nice man. My friend asked her ''what man?'' And the little girl pointed to a spot where there was nothing. She threw the ball, and it was thrown back to her.

Her sister was staying upstairs one night when someone threw at pillow at her and hit her in the face. The sister thought it was her son, but her son was fast asleep. My friend son brought his girl friend in one night, and they heard steps coming down the hall, so she hid in the closet while the son pulled covers over his head and pretended to be asleep. The girl reported a man came to the door dressed in overalls and just stood there, and then boom he was gone.
