I have been up on top of Mt. Scott several times and always sensed something unusual about it. I never felt threatened in any way but knew there was something different about it. I never knew that it was a sacred burial site of Native Americans.
I am not Indian but respect everyone and their beliefs and I will not go up Mt. Scott any more because I would feel as if is was being disrespectful to a burial site and the people put to rest there.
However the view from Mt. Scott is breath taking and I understand now why it is a burial spot for the deceased Native Americans.|

Comment by Martin: I've been on top of Mt Scott many times and did not know it was a burial ground. I've told my family when I die I want to be cremated and my ashes scattered there.
Back in the 1980's some friends from work and I decided to sneak up to mount Scott after the rangers closed the top part of the mountain. My grandmother used to tell me stories about the mountain being haunted and that it was an old Indian burial site.
